About CPS
Using Collaborative Problem Solving® with your child to solve chronic problems is an achievable goal. CPS is a philosophy that will guide you to look at problems in a new way and help you to respond to challenging behaviors and make positive changes. While the philosophy is simple, “children do well if they can,” the list of problems which can be addressed is endless. If you are thinking about problem behaviors you see in your child, or if you are feeling stuck in your interactions with other adults, consider learning the CPS philosophy and approach.
Experienced parent coach and educator, Dawna Donaghey, Ed.M, is certified in Collaborative Problem Solving® and offers parent classes or individual appointments where you will learn and practice new skills. You may invite your family members to learn and practice with you. In addition, Dawna offers in-depth trainings to schools or other groups who want to learn about CPS and start implementing a strengths-based and skill-based approach.
